Ingredients
2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced2 cups milk 1 cooked potato1 large onion2 tbsp vegetable oilsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook mushrooms in milk. Meanwhile, saute onion in oil until golden brown. In a blender or food processor, combine mushrooms and potato and process until smooth, gradually adding milk. Add onions; mix again. Add salt and pepper to taste. Yield: 3+ cups
Sauce is traditionally used with potatoes, but can go with any favorite dish.
