Spicy Bran Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup bran flakes or buds1 cup milk1 egg1/2c applesauce1tbsp oil1/2 c raisins1cup flour2.5 tsp baking powder1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg &/or allspice1/2 tsp salt1 tsp sugar
Directions
soak raisins in hot water to plump -

pour bran into mixing bowl - pour milk over and let sit until all milk is soaked up. Add egg, oil and applesauce - mix well
add raisins

mix dry ingredients in separate bowl - add to wet - mix 10-12 times

drop approx 1tsp batter into mini muffin cups

makes 36 mini or small muffins
