When I cook this dish I like to use fresh tomatoes and herbs to reduce sodium. Thanks for sharing! :-) - 12/10/08

I make this all the time for a fast meal. However you can save a ton of calories if you don't use pasta or oil. Just cook the spinach and add any type of bean and tomatoes. Excellent choice. - 7/15/09

Just made this using "no salt added" diced tomatoes and whole wheat spaghetti noodle. AWESOME! Can't wait to make it again. :) - 6/23/09

This was really good. I used whole wheat pasta. It tasted great the first night but I dont recommend re-heating. - 6/2/08

This is really good; I used red onion, fresh tomatoes, and greek oregano from my garden, which gave it a little more spice;also used whole wheat linguine-a little too heavy with the beans. Next time I will use a lighter pasta or couscous, rice, etc. Very good flavor, will make again! - 7/14/09

Ok so I made a few changes I used penne pasta instead and I added some red peppers and it was wonderful the trick is to add the spinach and peppers in at the last minute so the get just a little cooked - 7/11/09

I swapped out the linguine for a blend of white and brown rices and blended in some Pecorino for the first nights dinner. For leftover I mixed in some seasoned bread crumbs and skillet fried them lilke hashbrowns. - 7/27/09

This recipe is so easy to make, healthy and filling. I used spinach fettucine, and it was attractive as well as healthy! My husband loved it, too - we will definitely make it again. - 5/28/08

It's a keeper plus you can add and subtract wholesome ingredients (mushrooms, peppers, spice etal) to customize. - 9/25/09

Thank you for this recipe! We loved it!
Only thing was I didn't have enough fresh spinach so I added frozen - and we decided we liked the frozen BETTER! :) But it was awesome! Thanks again! - 7/20/09

I made this, using fresh herbs & tomatoes, and added mushrooms, and it was EXCELLENT!! My son's girlfriend even tried a little bit of sauce and said it was good, and she's pretty picky! :) This is going in my recipe favorites! - 7/12/09

When I saw this recipe, I thought it was not going to be good, but boy was I wrong. I LOVE this recipe, and so much I ate all the leftovers, and I bought the ingredients again to fix it again this week. THANK you for sharing this simple and decicious recipe. - 7/11/09

Yummy and filling...my ghetto grocery store didn't have the diced tomatoes as listed so I used the fire roasted and added vegetable magic, oregano, and basil. I also used orzo as the pasta. - 7/3/09

This was very good although I do advise you to drain the liquid out of the beans and the tomatoes because this was very soupy. I also made (turkey) italian sausage links on the side for the guys in the house. - 10/4/09

I made this last night and am having it again for breakfast! I used whole wheat penne pasta instead of linguine and seasoned w/ No Salt and Pepper - Fantastic! I will add onion and green pepper to the garlic next time I make it, though for even bolder flavor. - 5/15/08

I added some soy sauce and hot pepper flakes for a little extra flare. Very good and easy...

it is also pretty good cold - kind of like a pasta salad variation - 5/15/08

Awesome recipe. I had to add a little lean ground italian turkey 'cause my family are a bunch of meat eaters but it was super!! My kids ate it (including the spinach) and asked for seconds. Defintely a keeper and we will be making this again. Thanks for sharing!! - 7/18/09
