I made this today. It was very good but instead of low fat mayo I used plain Greek yogurt. I added chopped up bits of egg to give it the umph it seemed to be missing but otherwise great dish. Very quick and very easy. - 6/24/12

This was very good, but next time I won't use quite so much celery. I was thinking about adding black olives to it; anybody got any opinions? But it was really good, I'll make it again.
NOTE: I tried this later in the day as a snack, and it tasted even better as a left-over. - 12/11/08

This is a good basic recipe. I like a little sweetness to mine so I added red grapes. Also added a little diced onion... lots of flavor for virtually no added calories.

    Thanks for sharing! - 7/20/12

Delicious as a basic chicken salad and so easy to adapt according to your own taste. I added some apple, a few pecans pieces, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and a couple of teaspoons of plain, fat-free Greek yogurt. - 1/22/13

I used celery flakes and pickles. I don't like to bite into celery...just not a food I eat. - 6/4/12

This should be called "GOLD Standard Chicken Salad"! Best after being allowed to chill for an hour or so. Portion size is almost perfect, not too much or too skimpy. I tried this on a whole wheat pita with baby carrots on the side...delicious! Will be making this ahead as a quick lunch staple. - 4/25/11

Thank you! I have been looking for a good yet simple chicken salad recipe. It's a wonderful base, yet additional items can be added for individual taste. I may add cranraisins or not, either way my mouth is watering! - 1/22/12

I tried this because I wanted a simple but good chicken salad that didn't require any fruit. I was very pleased with how it turned out! My husband even really enjoyed it. Next time I think I'll add some diced sweet onion and a little more spices (I used a little cayenne in mine) - 1/18/12

Good, but need something else to hold it all together. I'll experiment with grapes or apples next time, but I will be making this again. - 1/10/12

I substituted the lemon pepper for the paprika and the crushed red pepper for a dash of cayenne pepper. I baked a pre-tenderized cutlet from the farmer's market at 350 for 30 minutes and YUM!!! Thank you! - 8/16/10
