Ingredients
1 can pumpkin1 devil's food cake mix
Directions
Preheat oven to 400. Grease muffin pan (or use liners). Mix together pumpkin and cake mix. DO NOT ADD ANYTHING ELSE... it looks weird, but keep mixing. Mix until smooth. Divide into 12 muffins, you may want to smooth the tops (since the batter is thick, they do not puff up into nice round shapes on their own.) bake 20 mins.

* I usually frost them with a FF cool whip mixed with a pkg. of SF,FF chocolate pudding.

I'm glad your recipe has the same calorie count as the HG website (the other SP counts are off by 90-100 cal!!). I really enjoyed these. The batter does take some work to stir up but it's worth it! I'm going to try spice cake mix as well;) - 4/11/12

At first I was a little skeptic but they are very good. I put a little bit of cool whip on top. Even my husband liked it. - 2/17/09

I got this recipe from the Hungry Girl website and cookbook too. They are wonderful. I have also used a spice cake mix instead of the chocolate- great! - 1/2/09

Saw this recipe on Hungry Girl website. Excellent! I made these for my birthday instead of cake or cupcakes. I don't even bother to frost them with anything since they are already so yummy! Brought some to work and they were a hit with the coworkers too. :) - 12/31/08
