Chicken Adobo, Filipino Style

Ingredients
Chicken, drumsticks (3 lbs)Soy sauce (.8 cup)Vinegar (. 8 cup)Garlic (6 cloves)
Directions
Take off skin from Chicken (optional)
Mince garlic
Mix all the ingredients and cook for approximately 20 minutes.
Make sure the ingredients mixes well together and poke each drumstick with a fork to ensure that they are thoroughly cooked.

    I make this all the time! One of my friends was from the PI and taught me. I now use breasts with the bone in (instead of dark meat), throw in a tbsp of brown sugar and a little chopped onion and then cover until the meat is tender and skip the frying in oil which is what they normally do. - 7/15/09

    Hi Suzyoki, you're right a lot of people make this but have a lot of variations. One is just one of many versions :)
