Ingredients
Barley 1 cupWater 6 cupssugar 1 tspsmall figs 8
Directions
Add 1 cup Barley to 6 cups water. Bring to boil for 4 hours . Strain Barley from Water Add 1 tsp sugar and 8 cut in small pieces figs. Barley can be reuseded in muffins or other products.

Option: Do not strain Barley from the water. This makes a thicker creamer soup.
