roast, carrots, potatoes, onion, black pepper, and any other seasoning you like.
I use 3lb beef check arm roast, 2 cups beef broth, 2 cups water, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2-3 tbsp black pepper. I use my large crock pot. Try to trim the fat off the roast, place in the crock pot with the beef broth & water, add onion and seasonings. Cook on high for about 1 hour, then turn down to low.. Cook for about 4.5 hours, then add sliced carrots (canned, or fresh) and chopped potatoes to the beef broth & roast mixture. Cook for about another hour. Slice or cube the roast and serve with potatoes & carrots.
