Ingredients
Directions
1 lb ground pork1 egg1/2c panko crumbs1 tbsp sugar1 tbsp soy sauce3 cloves garlic1/2 tsp chinese five spice1 can, ten count buttermilk biscuits
Mix all ingredients except for biscuits. Open biscuits and divide each one into 4ths, then roll each section into an appx 2 inch diameter. Spoon about a tsp of the meat mixture onto each buscuit. Wet the outer edges of the biscuit and press the ends together so you form something that looks like a pot sticker.
To cook: brown the dumplings on each side in a non stick cooking pan with a drizzle of oil. Turn heat up to high and add about 1/2 c water to the dumplings. Immediately cover pan and let steam for about 5 mintues. Turn the heat down and let steam another 5 mintues. Check for doneness by cutting one dumpling in half. Serve with soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
