1 1/2 c heavy cream1/4 c fresh lemon juice6 Tbsp butter1 (9 oz) pkg fresh fettucini, cooked al dente (apx. 4 min), drained1 c freshly grated parmesan2 tsp fresh lemon zest salt and pepper to taste
In a heavy skillet, combine 1 c heavy cream and lemon juice.
Turn heat to med and add butter, stirring until melted, and remove from heat.
In the meantime, cook fettucini according to directions and drain.
Add pasta to pan, stir in reserved 1/2 c heavy cream, lemon zest and parmesan and stir until the pasta is mixed in well and sauce starts to thicken (apx. 2 minutes)
Serve immediately-
makes 6 entree' sized servings.
