  • Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 can tropical fruit cocktail, drained1 package of sugar free jello (orange is best for this recipe, as it gives it a creamsicle taste)1 container of lite cool whip2 c. fat free cottage cheese (you can mush it up if you'd like a smoother texture, but either way it's fine)
Directions
Drain the tropical fruit and put it in a bowl. Add the whipped cream, unmade jello mix, and the cream cheese. For a smoother texture, you can slightly blend the cottage cheese. Refrigerate for about and hour, the mixture will solidify. Enjoy!

You can also do this with regular fruit cocktail and any flavor of sugar free jello.

There's no cream cheese among the ingredients but it's in the directions. Do we add cream cheese at all? Or do you mean cottage cheese? - 11/14/14

    ICanHearNow:
Mix dry jello with coolwhip, then the cottage cheese, and last the fruit. I use less coolwhip and small curd cottage cheese, but that's my personal preference. My mom uses large curd and 3/4 container coolwhip

Check your calories. she only calculated 1 cup of fruit and 4 servings of cool whip. The calories are higher. - 8/1/08

I'm sure that this is delicious, but this recipe doen't belong in the vegetarian section as gelatin ("jello") is an animal product. - 5/29/07

I do love this. I've had it around the holiday season, too, and it's true that you can use whatever flavors and fruits you want. I'd use fat free whipped topping for mine. - 3/21/07
