This has a very STRONG taste with curry and cumin. I liked it, but my adult daughter did not. - 2/19/15

Just made this, and am currently eating it! Super easy and uber yummy! Love it! Will be making this a lunch staple! Given the curry flavour, I think it would also taste great over grilled chicken and brown rice (as a sauce). Such a great yet simple recipe! Thanks!!! - 10/8/11

Good and super simple. In my opinion it would have been helped by a little onion and garlic. Another option would be to get a high quality and a little spicier curry, like Madras. I just had a fairly bland supermarket variety on hand. But simplicity is a plus! - 10/16/10

Very easy to make since I didn't have curry or cumin. So I add cayenne pepper and some other spices. I'm going to try it with the other spices. - 10/18/09

Very quick and easy, with on-hand ingredients, including some souring milk from the fridge. I also added some hot sauce for a kick. Definitely not the typical sweet pumpkin recipe. - 3/3/09

Very easy. Tasted good but only rated good as the flavor was different for me. I will make again as I'm eating healthier. Husband really liked it, said it reminded him of creamy tomato but much better and flavorful. - 11/12/08

This is alot like one that I've made, except I put a tad of onion or onion powder in it. I love pumpkin and I love curry so this is a great soup! - 11/4/08

Tasty! I was a bit nervous... most of us think of pumpkin recipes as being sweet. Not this one. A good, hearty & filling soup. Could be used as a base for other soups! I ate mine with onion and pepper. Cheese would be good too. Thx for the recipe. I'm thinking of servihng with Thanksgiving dinner. - 10/24/08
