Ingredients
SMALL RED BEANS, 8 cup *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 2 lbsCanned Tomatoes, 2 can 15 ozOnions, raw, 1 cup, chopped *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped Chili powder, 8 tbsp OR TO TASTE*Cumin seed, 2 tbsp OR TO TASTESea Salt, 1/4 cup or to tastePepper, black, 3 tbsp or to taste
Directions
Pre soak beans overnight. Drain and rinse well. Put back in soup pot and cover with water. Saute meat with onion and peppers and some of the seasonings. Place all the rest of the ingredients in soup pot and simmer at least 3hrs on low heat. Yummy!!

    This was very tasty. I added some garlic to the meat as I cooked it. Also added a little cayenne pepper to spice it up. I did the half recipe. It was a good amount with not too much left over. - 3/10/09
