Autumn Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette

Ingredients
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil2 tbsp red wine vinegar1/2 tsp sugar1/2 tsp minced garlic1/8 tsp saltPinch dried basilPinch red pepper9 cups mixed greens1 large Asian pear, cubed1 large Granny Smith apple1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced1 oz. blue cheese1/4 cup dried cranberries3 tbsp walnuts1 cup red seedless grapes
Directions
Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl and stir with a whisk.

Combine rest of ingredients except cheese in a large bowl. Drizzle with vinaigrette; toss well to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.

Serves 12. (about 1 cup salad and 1 tsp of cheese)

    Made a v. similar salad. Subbed reduced fat feta for blue. Omitted cberries, nuts, grapes. Add 1/4 tsp paprika and 1/4 tsp dried mustard to dressing. 48 calories instead of 94! YUMMY!!!!! Add grilled chicken for a meal. from Cooking Light - 11/14/08
