Stir-Fry Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 c Cornstarch1/4 c brown sugar1Tbsp Minced fresh Ginger Root2 lg cloves garlic, minced1/2 tsp. ground red pepper1/2 c. soy sauce1/4 c. cider vinegar2 c. chicken or beef broth1/2 c. dry sherry (optional)1/2 c. waterCombine first 5 ingredients. Add soy sauce and vinegar. Shake until blended. Add broth, sherry and water. Shake. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. May be frozen.

    This stir fry sauce was great! Will use again. I cut down some of the soy sauce (mainly cause I didn't have enough!) and added some W.O. sauce instead. Also, omited the red pepper since my son doesn't like spicy, and left out the sherry. My son LOVED the veggies after we stirred this in! - 8/18/09
