Spaghetti with Clam Sauce

8oz. uncooked spaghetti or linguini3 large cloves of garlic1 tablespoon olive oil1 tablespoon butter, unsalted1 10 oz. can of whole baby clams, reserve liquid1 c. dry white wine1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh)1 tablespoon chopped, fresh parsley
1. Boil pasta according to package instructions.
2. Saute garlic in olive oil and butter over low heat for 1 minute.
3. Stir in liquid from clams, white wine, and thyme leaves. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Stir in clams and heat just until warm.
5. Toss drained pasta with the claim sauce. Season to taste. Sprinkle with parsley.
Makes 4 servings.
