cheddar polish sausage scalloped potatoes

Ingredients
2 lbs. red potatoes1lb polish sausage(turkey)2 c. 2% shredded cheddar cheese2 tbs flour2 tbs light smart balance buttery spread2 c 1% milk
Directions
slice potatoes, and polish sausage into pieces. mix flour and buttery spread in a sauce pan. after it is mixed together add 2 c 1% milk all together. Cook until thickened stirring consatntly. then add 1 1/2 c cheese and cook until melted. put thin layer of sauce in bottom of 8x8 baking pan. then add layer of potatoes. next a layer of polish sausage. continue with layers until all ingredients are used. Put remainer of cheese on top and cover with foil. Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. remove foil and cook for 15 minutes. makes 8 1-cup servings

    Does this Polish sausage come in a round coil similar to Kelbassa, or is it in a casing similar to breakfast sausage? The recipe sounds delish but I'm not sure which kind of sausage I should use,. - 8/29/19

    Oh My Goodness! This is a wonderful dish. My husband said "This is a keeper" The recipe was easy to put together. I added fresh chopped onion and garlic for extra flavor. My Turkey Polish sausage package was only 13.5 oz. and it still was plenty of meat. Yum! - 1/30/12
