Pinto Beans and Ham Hocks

Ingredients
2 lb bag dried pinto beans1 lb ham hockwatersalt and pepper
Directions
*Place dried beans and ham hock in a large pot
*Cover with water
*Bring to a boil on stovetop; lower heat and
simmer for about 8 hours, adding water as
needed. Soup should be somewhat thick when
done.
*Take out ham hock; shred meat off bone. Return
meat to pot.
