Taco Bean Soup

1 can of salt free black beans, undrained1 can of pinto beans, undrained1/2 cup of salsa4 tablespoons fat free sour cream1.5 servings of tortilla chips, divided4 tablespoons chopped onion1 tsp vegetable oil.5 cup tomatoes, diced1.5 oz cheddar cheese, grated1 tbsp taco seasoning 1 tsp chili powder1/4 tsp ground red peppersalt and pepper to taste4 servings
Pour beans and salsa into a pan, add spices, and simmer on medium. Meanwhile, fry the onions in vegetable oil until clear, and dice tomatoes. Add to beans, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring often.
Add half of soup to a blender, and puree. Pour it back into the rest of the soup, stir, and pour into 4 bowls.
Garnish with cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips, and extra salsa, if you'd like. Enjoy! :)
