1/2 tbsp olive oil1 medium onion, chopped90g small pasta shapes90g lean, cooked ham, chopped90g mature, low fat Cheddar cheese, grated3 medium eggs, beaten1 tsp dried herbs or 1 tbsp fresh herbs, choppedsalt and black pepper
Makes 6 small slices.
1. Preheat oven to Gas Mark 5/190C/fan oven 170C.
2. Grease a 20cm (8 inch) cake tin with the olive oil.
3. Cook onion in lightly salted boiling water for 4 minutes.
4. At the same time, cook the pasta separately in lightly salted water for 10 minutes until tender.
5. Drain the onions and pasta and leave to cool slightly.
6. Mix together the onion, pasta, ham, cheese, eggs, herbs, and pepper.
7. Transfer the prepared mixture to the cake tin and level the surface.
8. Bake for 30 minutes until firm and golden.
9. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
10. Enjoy!
