Tex-Mex Sloppy Joes

1 lb uncooked ground chicken breast or turkey breast2 medium onions, chopped1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped1/2 cup loose-pack frozen whole kernel corn2 large cloved garlic, minced1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded (if desired) and finely chopped1 tsp chili powder1 tsp ground cumin1 tsp dried oregano, crushed, or 1 tbsp snipped fresh oregano3/4 cup ketchup4 tsp Worcestershire sauce8 whole wheat hamburger bunsDill pickle slices (optional)
1. In a large nonstick skillet combine ground chicken (or turkey), onions, bell pepper, corn, garlic, chile pepper, chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Cook over medium heat until chicken is no longer pink and onions are tender, stirring frequently. Stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce; heat through.
2. Divide chicken mixture among buns. Top with pickle slices, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
