1 1/2 c brown rice1 T margarine1 t salt2 1/2 c boiling water
Place rice, margarine & salt in 8x8 pan.
Pour water over ingredients.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake in middle of oven at 375 for 1 hour.
Uncover, fluff with fork, enjoy

I love this recipe, it's yummy! But I discovered that Sparkrecipes nutritional information for brown rice is for COOKED rice, not raw. The 1 1/2 cups listed in your ingredients list is the cooked amount, not the dry amount (I don't know why they do it this way...). But still an awesome recipe! - 2/3/09
