Bircher's Muesli

Ingredients
1 cup oats8 oz. plain unsweetened fat free yogurt1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice1/2 cup dried apples or other fruit1/2 cup currantsdash of cinnamondash nutmeg
Directions
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Can serve with freshly grated apple, honey, fresh berries, etc.

    Followed the directions of SCRIPTDUCK and made a large batch with applesauce, slivered almonds, dried apricots, & raisins. Wonderful for breakfast all week. - 9/16/20

    Didn't even add the dried fruit except for the currants. I did throw in some cardamom with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Delicious. I think adding grated fresh apple would be good and will try it next time. Substituting golden raisins is on my list. - 1/20/17

    Also good with some sliced or chopped almonds. Add calories if you add nuts. - 8/7/13

    I make this with 1 large container of plain yoghurt, 1-2 cups of oats, and 8-10 pieces of fruit [apples, mango, oranges, grapefruits, dried anything]. Very sustaining, almost as good as dessert! - 10/3/10
