I made this for an open house for a housewarming. I made a triple batch. It was highly praised even I like it &I typically am not a chili fan. Since I was making so made 1 batch reg and the other two i used all low sodium beans & seasoning. I also added a handful of mushrooms to use them up. - 10/23/13

I made a triple batch yesterday at a BBQ for 38 people. Even thought it was a hot day, it still sold out and I had many requests for the recipe. Always a big hit!! - 6/7/10

I am eating it right now. I chopped up all the ingredients last night and browned the turkey which I was very skeptical of..I don't do ground turkey..but it is DELICIOUS! I think my family is going to love dinner tonight. - 2/10/09

I don't care for chili, but I made this for my husband today to have during the Super Bowl...he loves it. One question I have, though, is how big of a can of tomato sauce is needed? I used 16 ounces. He can't wait for left overs tomorrow. - 2/1/09

Hi, when I make the chili Ido use a 16 ounce can but when my mom makes the chili she uses the 8 oz can and it is good either way.

This is great! I had a bowl, then turned the crock pot to low so it'll be fine for DH when he gets in from work. I have a meeting at church. - 10/4/11
