I made this using a homeade chicken stock to reduce the sodium, skipped the celery and had to use onion powder because of GERD and had a little ham in it. Was very good and filling! - 3/11/09

Very thick and satisfying for the calories! I longed to add salt, but didn't. I think I could serve to my teenagers if I added some ham. Also, I added a dollup of nonfat sour cream and really enjoyed the add'l richness. - 10/17/10

I made something similar to this today in my crockpot. Had leftover dijon potatoes & no celery or chicken broth. Yummy & filling and warming on a cold night. Hubby liked it, too! And so much healthier than the hi-salt canned soups! - 12/1/08
