German white cabbage salad

1 head fresh white cabbage, 1 medium onion, 4tsp olive oil, 2 tsp cider vinegar, 4 tsp white sugar or honey.
Shred cabbage very thinly, mix with oinions pour into hot water and leave for about 10mins. Drain out the water, squeeze out the cabbage and add the remain ingerdients. Mix well and leave for 3 hours. can be eaten with steak or any meat dish, or mixed with other vegetables such as carrot and eaten as salad. Little or no dressing required.
