my vegi beef barley soup

Ingredients
sautee cut beefadd 1 large onion3Tbls minced garlictaragon, red pepper flakes and bay leave8 cups of water10tsp of soup base1c chopped clery2lbs fresh mushrooms1c chopped red pepperhalf large head of cabbage chopped2cup v8 or tomatoe juice2cups frozen grreen beans/broccoli corn etc1cup uncooked barley
Directions
brown the meat onion garlic add water and soup base
then and any and all vegis you have on hand freash or frozen
and you barley last and simmer as long as it take for barley to cook
makes 20 1 cup servings
