Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
12 ounces of cooked ham.1 cup shopped or shredded carrots2 medium potatoes chopped1 pound split peas1/2 cup chopped onions
Directions
Put all ingredients together in a large pot with 10 cups of water. Cook on low for several hours. When peas are cooked down, take the lid off the pot and continue cooking to thicken the soup.
