2 cups hot water1 cup quick oatmeal2 tablespoons margarine2 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water1/2 cup honey1 tablespoon salt2 1/2 cups white flour2 1/2 cups whole wheat flourAdd oatmeal to the hot water. Mix then add margarine, honey, & salt. Start mixing in the white flour in the oatmeal mixture until all is added. Next mix in the yeast mixture. Add the wheat flour to all of the above until a soft dough is formed. Knead dough for about 5 minutes and seperate into 2 large loaves and 1 small loaf. Place in greased loaf pan and let rise until dough is doubled.
Bake at 350 for 27 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool. When cool slice into about 15 slices for the large loaves and 6 for the small loaf. You can also make this dough ahead and freeze in the loaf sizes. When you want to use them simply take them out of the freezer and let them rise until double. This may take at least 8 hours.
