Spaetzle German Noodles

Ingredients
*Flour, white, 1 cup Milk, 2%, .5 cup Egg, fresh, 1 largeSalt, 1 tsp
Directions
Beat ingredients well until batter shows bubbles. Pour batter into spaetzle maker over simmering water and squeeze batter into water. Let rise to top, skim them out, drain and rinse under cold water.

    I don't have a spaetze maker so I just press it through a colander and cut into small lengths as it comes through and they just drop into the boiling water. - 8/31/09

    My grandmother made them by putting the batter on a wooden board, cutting a small pieces of batter off and sliding it into the water, one at a time. She did it so fast! - 9/9/11
