Molasses Cookies

Ingredients
Sift : 2 ½ C. all purpose flour½ tsp baking soda1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. ground ginger1 tsp. ground cloves1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
Cream margarine, sugar and molasses. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together and gradually add, mixing thoroughly. Dough will be stiff. Chill for at least 2 hours. Roll into balls, then roll balls in granulated sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Gently use a glass to flatten slightly. Cookies will not spread much so you can get a lot on a tray. Bake at 375 for 9 min. Cool on wire racks.
