Homemade Spaghetti Sause

Ingredients
1 can 14oz. tomato puree1 can 6oz tomato paste1 can 14oz diced tomatoes (do not drain)1 can 12-14oz tomato sauce (optional)1/3 cup dried romano or parmesan/romano cheese mix1/4 onion or 1 tsp dried onion1 garlic clove or 1 tsp garlic powder2 tablespoons sugar (very important!)1/2 tsp italian seasoning1/2 tsp oreganodash cayenne pepper (very little)1 bay leaf
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for about 4-6 hours or on high for about 2-3 hours. Or, you can cook on the stove in about an hour and a half. *note: tastes best with romano cheese but works well with a romano/parmesan mix.
