3 lbs lean ground beef4 cups spaghetti sauce2 teaspoons garlic2 oz red cooking wine (or left over wine)2 lbs mozza cheese (shredded or sliced)1 bag pre-shredded part-skim mozza1 cup shredded cheddar2 pkg frozen spinach (thawed and drained)2 pkg lasagne noodles1 egg
pre-heat oven to 350.
boil noodles as per directions on box, while boiling - brown ground beef with garlic, drain. add cooking wine, and spaghetti sauce - let simmer. In a small bowl beat egg, add cottage cheese then mix in spinach.
spoon sauce into bottom of 2, 9 x 13 pans. layer of mozza, then layer of noodles, spoon half the cottage cheese spinach mixture on each pan; layer of mozza, cheddar, and parm; layer of noodle, layer of sauce, top layer of noodle, then rest of shredded mozza, cheddar, and parm on top.
bake for 45 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden brown. let set for 10 minutes. yeilds 24 pieces.
