My Favorite Meatloaf

  • Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
2 pounds lean ground beef3/4 c oatmeal1 pkg lipton onion soup mix2 eggs1/3 c ketchup3/4 cup water
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
2. In 13 x 9-inch baking or roasting pan, shape into loaf.
3. Bake uncovered 1 hour or until done.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving

    I liked this recipe. Mostly like mine, but i never tried it with oats. Adding the water seemed to make it more fluffy. I added ketchup on top and I substituted 1 pound of lean ground turkey for 1 pound of the beef. :) - 2/19/09

    This is great recipe family loved it great way to watch the calories but still taste .. I did follow recipe I did add I little tomato paste on the top GREAT ADDITION ! Will make this for my family again.. My kid even loved it .. - 2/15/09
