Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

2 Sticks butter or margarine, softened1 cup brown sugar, packed1/2 cup granulated sugar2 eggs1 tsp vanilla1 1/2 C all purpose flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp salt3 C quick cooking oatmeal (Quaker rolled oats)1 C Raisins
Heat oven to 350F
Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Stir in oatmeal and raisins; mix well.
Drop with 1 oz. scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen
