Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings

Ingredients
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves1 Tblsp butter1 can cream of chicken soup1 can mix vegetables1 red onion, finely diced1tsp ea. cumin, parsley, poultry seasoning, season salt and pepper1 package refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pcs.
Directions
Place all ingredients into the slow cooker, except the biscuits. Add enough water or chicken broth to cover.
Cover and cook for 5 - 6 hours on medium. Add torn biscuits one hour prior to serving. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

    I also left out the cumin. I used some frozen baby peas and cut up some carrots as I didn't have a bag of mixed veggies in the house. My husband thought it was fantastic and it's easy enough he could manage it by himself sometime! - 1/12/14

    The recipe was good...a little spicy for me...but a great consistency...thick, like I like it. We left out the cummin. - 11/1/12

    This recipe was alright. I didn't really enjoy it and 1 tsp of cumin was way too much in my opinion. It overpowered the rest of the ingredients. - 3/19/09
