175 grams butter or margarine1/4 cup icing sugar1 1/2 cups standard flour1/4 cup custard powderVanilla extractFor icing:50g softened butter or marge1/2 c icing sugar2 tbsp custard powder
Makes 20 cookies. Preheat oven to 180 C
1. Beat butter and sugar together and add vanilla extract
2. Into this, sift the flour and custard powder and mix well
3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place on tray. Flatten a bit with a fork or your fingers
4. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes. When cool, samwidge 2 biscuits together with icing in the middle, or jam is nice too.
