1/4 cup flour1/4 cup butter2 cups milk8 oz sharp cheddar cheese(salt, pepper, seasoning to taste)2 cups macaroni, pasta shells, etc.
Boil water and cook pasta.
Melt butter, mix in flour, add milk to make cream sauce, stirring constantly until it thickens. Add shredded cheese, stir in until it melts, adding salt, pepper, mustard, cayenne, etc. to taste.
Put pasta in casserole, mix in cheese sauce and bake at 350 for about 30 to 45 minutes until hot and bubbling.
