Chicken Noodle Soup

2 chicken breast halves, cooked & chopped8 tsp Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base8 C water2 C fine enriched egg noodles, uncooked1/2 C chopped carrot1/2 C chopped celery1/4 C chopped onion1 T olive oil1/4 t ground thyme1 bay leaffresh ground black pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in large stock pot. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, and thyme. Saute until onions are translucent.
Add bouillon and water to stock pot over medium high heat; stir to dissolve. When water reaches a slow boil, add noodles. Boil gently for 5 minutes. Reduce to simmer and add chicken. Season with salt if desired (extra salt not calculated in this recipe) and white pepper. Simmer 15 minutes, or until ready to serve.
Makes about 10 1-cup servings.
