Vegetarian burger Chili (crockpot)

Ingredients
3/4 c chopped celery3/4 c chopped onion1/2 c HOT water1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomato with green chiles1 can (15.5 oz) Red Kidney Beans1 can (15.5 oz.) Pinto Beans1 package veggie crumbles burger bits2 tbsp. cumin*2 tbsp. chili powder*1 tbsp. black pepper**These can be adjusted to taste. More will yeild a hotter chili. Less will be mild.
Directions
Spray a non-stick skillet with vegetable spray. On medium heat, Brown the burger bits until they are hot. Place in crockpot. Add the tomato sauce, beans, water, and diced tomato. Stir well. Add the spices to the pot. Stir again until well blended. . Cook in the crockpot on high until bubbly. Stirring occasionally. Then turn down to low/keep warm. Makes 9 one cup servings.
To make on the stove top, put all ingredients into a large pot and heat until warm. Serve hot.
