Splenda 6 tablespoonsUnbleached Flour / Spelt Flour recommended (calories for regular flour) 1 3/4 cupQuick cooking oats 1 1/3 cupUnsalted Butter 1/4 cup softenedSalt 1/2 tspBaking Soda 3/4 tspBaking Powder 1 1/2 tspCinnamon 2 tspCloves 1/2 tspMilk (fat free) 3/4 cuplemon juice 1 tbsp (makes milk like buttermilk, can skip this step)
Put flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in bowl and mix lightly with fork. Add sugar and mix. Add softened butter, oats and use pastry cutter to get dough to be pea sized balls. Add milk little at a time until dough forms. May not need full amount of milk. If do not use all milk save to add to top with some real sugar for a treat. Mix ingredients together. Knead dough approximately 10 times. Pat out to a circle or roll with rolling pin in a small circle. Cut into 8 pie shaped pieces. Gently place on greased cooking sheet.
Cook in a 400 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
