Ingredients
1/2 C quick cooking oats dry1 C white flour1/2 C whole wheat flour (anymixture of white and wheat flour is fine!)1tsp Baking Powder1tsp Baking Soda1Tbs Sugar or sugar substitute1tsp salt1 medium tastiest moist apple you can find chopped finely shredded1 large egg1 C milk1 T cinnamonWalnuts are included in the caloriesOptional ingredients are sliced banansstrawberries, and/or light pancake syrup
Directions
*In plastic ziplock bag, mix all dry ingredients except for walnuts. Mix well.

*I sometimes add flaxseed but that increases the calorie content so did not include it in this recipe*.

*In large bowl beat egg then add milk, and your finely or chunky chopped apple....some people like them chunky...especially if it's a really good tasting apple. It really depends on my mood that day as to how I cut my apples. = )

*Heat your non-stick skillet to medium high. Add 1/4 c of mix for these pancakes. These cook up really quickly. And I add some Pam to the pan, but I don't even think you need it!

The 5 servings in this allow for 3 pancakes/serving

*After cooking, I will add bananas, chopped nuts, strawberries, and sometimes some light pancake syrup.
