Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers

Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped 2 tablespoons soy sauce (I use reduced sodium kind) 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (reduced fat)
Directions:
1. Preheat grill for high heat.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, mushrooms, onion, blue cheese and soy sauce. Season with kosher salt and pepper. Form into 4 burger patties.
3. Lightly oil the grill grate. (I don't oil my George Foreman) Place patties on the prepared grill, and cook for 10 minutes per side, or until well done.
I've also made these outside on the grill - delicious!!!!!

OMG!!! Let me tell you that I had a spiritual experience eating these, yes these burgers are THAT good! I used my foreman and ate it on a sandwhich thin w/ a lil ketchup, & sub hot sauce 4 soy sauce. Next time I'd just reduce the onion to 1/2c minced & be warned these are nice savory and juicy! - 8/25/09

i just made these for supper.. on the grill.. and... they were fantastic! i used 1T soy & 1T worcestershire & portabellas... i had mine on a sandwich thin with tomato, lettuce, and onion and a little fat free mayo.... my very own whopper... it was a big burger! and full of flavor! thanks! - 7/3/10
