This was a really good chili...but very spicy! If you don't like heat--beware! My husband adds hot sauce to everything...he didn't with this one! We added an extra can of beans just to bump up the fiber...will make this again! - 3/3/10

I like to cook my own beans and save a little on the sodium, which I fight constantly.

I also like that this recipe lends itself to substitution -- turkey meat, different kinds of beans, with or without tomatoes. - 3/22/09

This sounds so good and tasty but a little too spicy for us. I am going to try this one but cut back on some of the spices. - 1/31/19

Here’s what I changed: I used 2 cans of light red Kidney beans, 2 cans of (14 oz) diced tomatoes, chili seasoning, and b - 2/18/18
