1 pkg. frozen turnip greens with turnips1 can pinto beans w/juice1 can great northern beans w/juice1 can rotel tomatoes with chilis1 pkg. knorr vegetable soup/dry 4 cups swansons chicken broth 99% fat free1 pkg. John Morrell hot smoked sausage (4 in package) cut upmakes 8- 1 cup servingsPut every thing in crockpot-adding my turnip greens last- sometimes i add onion, chicken breast, and whole kernel corn(drained)cook until vegetables are tender. about 4 hours.makes

    I'm not a huge fan of beans, though DH is. This is a recipe I'm printing, cos I think I'd like to try it (though it'll probably be kale or what we have in the UK as spring greens, or savoy cabbage). - 3/23/11

    This looks really easy and wouldn't be hard to make from scratch instead of using canned. The beans would just have to soak...but for a quickly made crockpot dish, this sound great. - 2/12/09
