Walnut & Orange Hummus

Ingredients
2 cups chickpeas (rinsed & drained)1 cup walnuts2 Tbsp Walnut OIl1 Pink Navel Orange 1/4 tsp orange zest 1/4 cup orange juice1/4 tsp salt1/4 cup water
Directions
1. In a dry skillet or 350 degree oven toast raw walnuts for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
2. In a food processor blend chickpeas until coarse.
3. Add the cooled walnuts and blend further.
4. Using a micro grater zest the orange and add 1/4 tsp to the mixture.
5. Juice the orange and add 1/4 cup juice to the mixture.
6. Add the oil, salt, and 1/4 cup water.
7. Blend until a creamy paste consistency is achieved. More water can be added if necessary.

Makes 17 2 Tbsp servings.

Serve with Pita Chips
