One-Pan Beef and Rice Dinner

Ingredients
1 lb extra lean ground beef1 package Boil-in-Bag Brown Rice prepared1/4 Cup diced onion (or substitute 2 T onion powder)1 Can sweet yellow corn, drained2 T Chili Powder1 T Garlic Powder1 T Olive Oil
Directions
In large skillet, heat oil. Sautee onion until soft, add ground beef and cook until browned. While browning beef, prepare rice per box directions in microwave. When beef is finished, add in chili powder and garlic powder. Add rice and corn, turn heat to med-low. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!

    I will try this one! I think I'd add some diced red sweet pepper and maybe some sliced green onions at the end for more color and nutrition. Also adds volume so you can have a bit more, with not that many more calories. I'm a volume kinda chick! lol - 4/13/09
