Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Turkey

Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil1 medium onion1 clove garlic12 oz ground turkey1 can bionature organic crushed tomatoes1 tbsp dried basil leaves
Directions
Saute onion in olive oil until translucent. Crush garlic clove and add to onion. Heat through. Add turkey and cook until lightly browned. Add crushed tomatoes and basic leaves. Stir together. Turn heat to simmer and keep on simmer for about 20 minutes.

Makes about 8 1/2 cup servings.

    My recipe adds vegetables: zucchini, bell peppers, black olives, or any vegetable that I have on hand and which sounds like a good spaghetti sauce add-in. These add bulk and texture whic "fills you up, not out". - 5/14/11
