Ingredients
* *Ground Beef 93% Lean, 1 lb. * Egg, fresh, 1 large * Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, 1 cup * Onions, raw, 1/4 cup, chopped * Garlic, 1 clove, diced or grated * Catsup, 1/2 cup * Pepper, black, 1/8 tsp * Milk, 2%, 1/4 cup
Directions
Pre-heat over to 375 degrees. Mix ground beef and egg thoroughly. Add bread crumbs and stir well to blend. Add milk gradually. Stir in onion, garlic, black pepper and 1/4 cup of ketchup. Put blended mixture into a bread loaf pan and spread remaining 1/4 cup ketchup on top. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until completely cooked.

    I skipped the onion/garlic and added onion powder and garlic powder. This made a nice smooth textured meatloaf to please my picky kid, but still enough flavour for the rest of us. Nice realistic serving size for a meal. - 10/1/10

    Made this tonight but replaced the catsup with salsa and I didn't have the milk on hand. Will try it again with the milk some time soon. - 7/7/09
