Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
*1 pint or 2 cups - Mushrooms, sliced*1/2 cup - Butter or Margarine*1 lb - Beef Stew Meat or Chuck roast, cut into 3/4 inch cubes*1/2 cup - Flour*1 tsp - Pepper*1 tbs - Garlic Powder*2 cups - Beef Broth or 2 cups Water with 2 beefboullion cubes*1/2 cup - Milk or Half and Half*3 cups - White Rice or Egg Noodles
Directions
1) Heat large saute pan or electric skillet to medium high (350 degrees).
2) Melt 1/4 cup butter - add mushrooms and saute
3) Combine in a bag or pie plate - flour, pepper and garlic powder. Coat beef cubes.
4) Remove Mushrooms from pan
5) Melt 1/4 cup butter and add coated beef cubes. Brown on all sides - about 2 minutes per side.
6) Add mushrooms back to the pan.
7) Add beef broth.
8) Cover and reduce tempurature to simmering - Cook 20-25 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
9) Steam rice or cook noodles per package instructions.

Makes (6) servings - 1/2 cup rice with 3/4 cup beef stroganoff.

Serve with vegetable of choice.
